We provide an AI-powered learning platform with courses, quizzes, and progress tracking. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2.2 Information from Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp)

When you contact Learn With Empire through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp Business — or when you sign in to our platform using Facebook Login — we receive data from Meta on your behalf, including: your account name and ID, profile photo, email address (when permitted), and messages sent to or from our Page or Account.

We act as a Tech Provider to Meta on behalf of you, the learner. The legal basis is your consent, granted when you authorize Learn With Empire via Meta’s OAuth or Facebook Login flow.

We use this data exclusively to provide the learning features you have signed up for: authenticating your account, personalizing course recommendations, sending learning reminders, and answering support questions you send via Meta messaging surfaces.

We retain Meta-sourced messages for 24 months in active storage plus 36 months in encrypted archive, after which they are permanently deleted, per Meta Platform Terms.

You may revoke our access at any time via Meta account settings, Connected apps, Remove “Team Empire Operations.” Removal triggers automatic deletion of your Meta-sourced data within 30 days via our data-deletion callback at https://api.teamempire.org/api/v1/integrations/meta/data-deletion. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure token storage, and role-based access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
